The growing Detroit Coffee Roasters in Northern Michigan includes a handful of shops roasting their own beans and also selling whole-bean packages to home enthusiasts. Unlike many of the larger, national chains that sell their own brand of pre-packaged coffee in stores, these smaller roasters source and then roast their own nuanced beans for each location. Whether in Traverse City or the Upper Peninsula, these locally-owned and operated cafes serve up a cup of something special to start your day.
